SPRING BREAK

April.10.2009, Sunday

- Spring Break Reflection -

My spring break was really amazing! Although, it was totally frustrating, it was really fun to visit Japan with my family and Japanese friend’s’ family. Hikaru, Hibiki, our moms, Hikaru’s dad, my cousin and brother went with me. As I told you about my Japanese friends below the posts, they are my best friends.
When the break started, we rushed to the Malaysian airport at midnight. Our faces were sleepy and dazed. It took 6 hours to reach there. We were so sleepy so we slept all night in an airplane. When we woke up we were in Japan. We took our packs and walked through to the Japanese airport entrance, the sky was bright and the weather was cool, the birds sang, “Welcome to Japan”. I wanted to cry because the scenery was beautiful and air was fresh and birds were greeting us too. It was totally better than Korea like what Hikaru told about how the Japan scenery looks like.
Meanwhile, we were watching the beautiful scenery. Then Hibiki, Hikaru’s small brother yelled Grandpa. We quickly looked at him. He greeted us gratefully and we were so happy. He came to the airport to fetch us up because it was morning and there were no taxies that was going to grandpa’s home. Grandpa drove us to his home. Everywhere looked wonderful. There were lot of colorful trees and flowers. As well as the Tokyo streets, the buildings were so bright and interesting. Suddenly, we stopped at front of a Japanese restaurant and grandpa asked me “Are you hungry?” I said “Yes” and we entered the restaurant. It was buffet style. Therefore I ate lots of the sushi, fish, pork and others that Hindus can’t eat. We were totally full. Then we got out from there and continued traveling. Finally, we reached Hikaru’s grandpa’s home! It was located in the farm and also near Tokyo. I stared at everywhere blankly, the scenery was more beautiful than the front of the Japanese airport. Wow! It was the most beautiful place that I have ever been. Grandpa’s house was really big and grandma was really kind. We threw our packs in our room nimbly and walked around the farms. We saw lots of interesting fruits and trees. I learned how to work on the farm field, it was pretty similar with what Egyptian peasants labored on.

In addition, there were barns where we watched several animals. There were cows, sheep, pigs and goats. They were so cute so I had been friend and played with them as well as Hikaru and Hibiki. After that we returned grandpa’s home again, I was so surprised because we were going to have a barbeque. But, I felt a bit sorry and sad with my animal friends because the every single barbeque meat was coming from them. Anyway, the party was a lot of fun and we went to bed. We did same thing until Friday accept working on the farm.

On the last day in Japan, we packed everything. While I was packing, I felt really sad and felt like crying. But I am boy and I sweared that I was not going to cry. That day’s schedule was that we were going to visit and have fun at Disney Land which is near the sea! We quickly threw our packs in the car trunk and began to rush there. When we reached Disney Land, we had only six hours to play so we bought tickets and then rushed to the roller-coaster. We had fun on the rides like Canoeing, Spin Spider Roller Coaster, Submarine and others. I think submarine was the coolest one because it goes underwater and we saw lots of fish and even sharks! I was so scared but they were calm so I got a bit exciting. After that we went to the Japanese airport and exchanged big hugs with grandpa and grandma and then boarded the airplane. When it had risen up from Japan, Hikaru and Hibiki began to cry and said, “I miss you grandpa and grandma!!!” My family and Hikaru’s family started laughing at them as well as the other people. It was so funny that they were crying and shouting. Anyway, it had been risen up already so I told Hikaru and Hibiki, “Just forget it we will come back again.” Then they immediately stopped crying and ate dinner. After we had dinner, we played the crazy racing game on the computer and fell asleep. It was the most extremely, wonderful, fantastical, beautiful, impressive and splendid holiday that I have ever had in my whole life!

However, when we got back to Malaysia, everything was still, absolutely still. My life was the same thing as before and everyday was so boring, sad, and lonely. There was no one around me. I slept all day long. Since I slept every day and read comic books, it was quite relaxful and peaceful…
